What language will the ceremony be in?
The Mass will be celebrated bilingually in Spanish and English at Parroquia del Sagrado Corazón. Programs will be printed in both languages so every guest can follow along comfortably. Toasts and the welcome at the reception will also be bilingual.
Are children welcome?
Children of immediate family are warmly welcome at the ceremony and reception. For other guests, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration so everyone can fully relax into the evening. Recommendations for trusted childcare in Monterrey are available on request.
How do I get from the hotel to the venues?
Shuttle buses will run between the Safi hotels, the church, and the reception. If you're staying somewhere else or prefer to travel on your own, Uber and Didi are widely available throughout Monterrey and are an easy way to get around.
If I'm driving, where should I park?
Parking near the church is limited. If you're driving and plan to attend the reception afterward, the easiest move is to come early, park at Casona de Santa Lucía (the reception venue, where parking is plentiful), and walk to the church. It's an eight-minute walk through the Paseo Santa Lucía. After the ceremony, walk back together with everyone for the reception.
What if my flight is delayed or I can't make it?
Send us a WhatsApp at +1 (919) 747-1606 as soon as you know. We'd rather hear about a delay than wonder. If you can't make it last-minute, the best gift you can give us is a quick message so we can adjust the seating chart.
What's the photo policy?
The ceremony itself will be unplugged so our photographer has clean line of sight and so the moment stays present. After the rings, take all the photos you'd like. We'll share a link to the wedding album the week after, so you don't need to worry about capturing everything yourself.
